Reclaimed wood, also referred to as salvaged wood, is lumber that has been re-purposed from its original use. For example, reusing the rafters or wood panels from an old, torn down barn in a new setting would make the wood reclaimed. Using reclaimed wood is the perfect way to accomplish an organic, rustic look while also showing kindness to the environment. Reclaimed wood is commonly used for flooring and furniture building, but can also be chopped or cut into pieces to create beautiful paneling for an accent wall.
